I work with publishers, nonprofits, educators, and organizations who need a scholar's rigor and a writer's clarity—and who understand that the stories we tell about history have real consequences in the present.

Here is what I offer:

EDITORIAL CONSULTING

I help authors, editors, and publishers develop manuscripts that are intellectually serious and publicly legible. My work includes developmental editing, manuscript evaluation, structural feedback, and research consulting. I am particularly well-suited to projects at the intersection of history, visual culture, gender, race, and public memory.

CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT

I design learning experiences that take ideas seriously. Drawing on more than a decade of university teaching and curriculum design — including large lecture courses, seminar-style discussion sections, and online learning — I help educational institutions, nonprofits, and mission-driven organizations build courses, workshops, and professional development programs that are rigorous, inclusive, and grounded in honest scholarship.

PUBLIC SCHOLARSHIP & SPEAKING

I translate complex historical and critical ideas for general audiences—in writing, in person, and in conversation. I am available for public lectures, panel discussions, media commentary, and keynote addresses on topics including political murals and public memory, feminist historiography, the history of gender and sexuality, solidarity and erasure, and the politics of who controls the narrative.

WHO I WORK WITH

I work best with clients who believe that getting the history right matters—university presses, independent publishers, social justice nonprofits, museums, advocacy organizations, and educational institutions. I bring the same intellectual commitment to a one-hour workshop as I do to a book manuscript.
